The Brookside Family Health Center is a comprehensive family medical practice dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care.  Having opened in 2008, this state-of-the-art facility is staffed by a small team determined to avoid the rushed schedule that plagues most medical offices.

       Our goal is to provide our patients with the kind of care that we ourselves would like to receive. This unhurried, personalized approach encourages a remarkable relationship to develop between the physician and the patient. This cooperation ensures that you receive the care you need and deserve.

       Our willingness to see patients when they want to be seen avoids many problems.  If you are sick today, we’ll see you today.  We keep our schedule light for just this reason, and thus you won’t need to be “squeezed in” or seen by a stranger as frequently happens at busy group practices.  Being “too busy” is a mistake that we refuse to make.

       Dr Giroux is a solo-physician, and he takes his own after-hours and weekend calls because he feels that his patients deserve to see their usual doctor, even at night or on weekends if the situation calls for it.  Delaying care, or sending patients to the emergency room because it’s more convenient for the doctor is inappropriate, in our opinion.

       Our open access policy means that you are able to speak directly with Dr Giroux whenever the need arises, and the staff doesn’t shield him from this responsibility.  His home and cell phone numbers are not kept secret from patients.
